We're looking into a variety of sports to bring to the viewers of WTV.

At this time, our outside broadcast facilities are very limited. Without Government funding or any grant support whatsoever, it's quite a task to raise the required $100k.

Beginning this month we are starting WTV's first Membership drive to raise money to purchase, amongst other things, our 1st Outside Broadcast van.

We're looking forward to an exciting year!

What about a panel show surrounding English Soccer?

SBS used to have a weekly round-up show on a monday evening that involved highlights on each of the Premier league matches.
I am not saying it has to be in that format but it could be a panel style show
discussing the coming weekends games and prior to that discussing the past weekends matches.
Give a League table update
and involve the other leagues aswell if that suits.

Being Welsh and growing up in England there is not a lot on free to Air for all the English/Scotish Soccer fans here in Perth.

When the show from SBS disappeared there were a lot of comments that it was missed.

Food for thought.

Cheers

Mark

I was more thinking rather than broadcasting do a show similar to the show Jason Jordan hosts(apologies name escapes me)

Where some footage is shown, clubs are introduced sort of an idiots guide to........... Lacrosse

Is there any interest in a show that may discuss the world of new paradigm relationships and the methods that can be used to empower yourself and your partner into taking full responsibility for your actions and how that can transform your self esteem, purpose and all around appreciation of life...

Sounds a bit airy fairy... or new agey... but what if it was done in a way that was really down to earth, modern and a bit edgy.

Run by people who are currently travelling the world teaching this stuff and getting amazingly transformative results...

Might be a bit risque... but there is a real need for this information to get out to the wider public NOW and community TV is the obvious choice..

We would love it if you would like to be involved...

Cheers,
Jason

How about a couple of chat and current affairs show taped in front of a live audience.think Ellen/Oprah /sally jesse /jerry springer something lighthearted yet with a social conscience.
Also a multi cultural version of beauty and the beast as it will make the public aware on how others react to everyday dilemma's.

Another one would be a children's knowledge show whether individual or school against school.I know other channels do similar but none are local. This will also increase viewing numbers as who doesnt want to watch their child on tv?
