The issue of refugees & asylum seekers has always been contentious in Australia.

But not all those coming to our shores are fleeing from war-torn countries. On Saturday, April 2, we speak to an English refugee who has arrived in Perth seeking asylum.

We hear his story, and ask why he is not required to stay at Christmas Island, like thousands of other refugees.

I am the person who is featured in the interview. I contacted WTV and gave them (a lot of) evidence that I had interferred with a human/ child trafficker who was using my wife's Thai marriage agency for human trafficking purposes. After which he both attempted to have me murdered and threatened to murder me. I told WTV that I had reported the man to his local english police station, but it would seem he has the influence over the police that he claims to have, because instead of arresting him they told him how I discovered about his plot to have me murdered. I also told WTV that the trafficker's local police force knew I suffered from panic attacks, so they used said anxiety problems illegally in order to force me into agreeing that the trafficker should be left alone. I also made the complaint about the torture to the english police complaints dep (IPCC) who did not dispute that I was tortured in order to protect a criminal, but gave the job of investigating the torture back to the police officers who inflicted it.
I can actually prove with very strong evidence that I was tortured by English Police in an English Police station, and I am not the only one! According to wikipedia's IPCC page 400 people have died in the last ten years after being in contact with the English Police (I believe the number beats SA Police) but not one police officer has been prosecuted for murder or manslaughter. Please note G20 murder, and tube train murder nobody was prosecuted. Those two got in the news but the vast majority (including a New Zealand man who was beaten to death by the English police)are kept quiet
I can also prove with very strong evidence that the trafficker has many contacts in Thailand and has used some of them in the past in an attempt to have me murderesd. He informed people who have guns that I owed him 2,000 GBP (equivilant to 20,000gbp in Thailand) and they could have the money if they could force me to pay it. Then he told them where I lived. Our informer told us that the people being incited to murder considered paying us a visit, but the visit was posponed because not all agreed.
Warren From WTV was given evidence of the above, but chose not to read it. Instead he looked up my wife's agency name and saw it was operating in the USA. He then switched off his brain and thought I was operating a prostitute site in the USA, he did not know he could have looked at "Go daddy .com" where they would have told him that my wife's site has changed ownership twice since she let the domain lapse. In fact he has the inteligence of a English Police officer, because he thought I was involved in the USA prostitution industry.
Today I took my passport into the WTV office and showed my passport in order to prove I have not been to the USA in the past ten years.
Now we come to christmas island. .
The australian refugge rules state that if a aplication is made on australian soil and the person can look after himself whilst at the same time contributing the the australian economy then normally he would not go to a detention camp where he would take away from the australian economy.
WaRREN masuilamony was given the oportunity to investigate extremely serious crimes committed by english police officers in order to protect a human trafficker. However , because he thought he caught an american gangster who runs prostitute web sites he thought he would go for that story instead. After that story was killed he decided to go with the better treatment for western refuggee story. In fact if an asian came to australia with my funds and a legal visa it is very unlikely he would be sent to a detention camp

If there are any viewers (at all) of this forum who believe like me that human trafficking should be stopped and every aslym seeker who comes to australia should be throughly investigated (accountable investigation open to public scrutiny) before refuggee status is granted. I did not watch the programe last night, but from the tone of the interview it would seem that wtv are not interested in stopping human trafficking, as they were given an abundance of evidence which proved it takes place, but preferred to run the interview based on their own agenda

No agenda. WTV didn't run the story because the 'facts' could not be cross referenced. Not good journalism if certain statements could not be verified by multiple sources.
